Arriving by train :

via the train station in Caen.

April 3rd 2018 is announced as a day of strike at SNCF. By going to the traffic information website TER Normandie of the SNCF on March 22nd also a day of strike, we saw that there is minimum service but that there is no train between Paris and Caen at 10:10 am .
The trains running are:

- the 3335 train leaves Paris Saint Lazare at 8.44 am arriving at Caen at 10.53am;

- train 3307 departing Paris Saint Lazare at 12:09 arriving in Caen at 14:03.

In the absence of direct information on the 3rd of April (which will probably be published only on the evening of 2nd of April), we hope that these two trains will also run on the 3rd of April.

As far as tickets are concerned, April bookings are closed, but for Intercity trains, it is possible to buy open tickets, which are without reservations and which are valid for 7 days.

A shuttle bus will be there for the participants on the day of arrival and departure. 
It will fetch the participants arriving by train at 11 am  on April

, and be programmed for the participants to travel by the 2:07 pm train on April 6

At other times, Bus line #20 (Caen <- >Le Havre) from Bus Verts du Calvados brings you in 30 minutes from Caen train station to Cabourg. The bus stop in front of the village is called Renaissance.

Arriving by plane :

via the Caen-Carpiquet airport where regular flight from various destinations in France and Europe exist, in particular from London, Lyon  or Nice.
Free shuttle buses travel to and from the airport to the train station in Caen where there is a bus to Cabourg.
